Let me use this opportunity to wish our brothers and sisters happy sallah or ileya as some refer to it. The Eid-EL-Kabir is a period for sacrifice. The ram is sacrificed and the meat is left for us to consume.
Consumption of the meat and other sumptuous food that go with it (trust Nigerians to celebrate very well) affects our colon and our acid-alkaline balance. If we do nothing and think everything is all right, we may develop problems later that may cause us bigger problems.
Therefore, after the ileya and sallah festivities, we need to cleanse our colon and restore our alkaline/acid balance as much consumption of meat and meat products is likely to unbalance our body system.
